► 12 days from Tangier to desert

Day 1: Tangier

Arrive in Tangier we welcome you in the airport or the port of tangier and we transfer to your hotel. If time permits you will explore the medina with an elocal guide

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen

After having taken your breakfast, our tour start toward Chefchaouen via Tetouan. in Chefchaouen you will explore the medina with its beautiful starry streets. Visit the kasbah museum. walking discovery. take great pictures.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fes

Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will start our journey to the city of Fes; The tour will take us to visit the Roman ruins at Volubilis and the city of Meknes. After lunch we will visit: Bab Mansour, a large gate on the old city wall which will take us directly to Moulay Ismail Palace. We will also visit the Herri Es-Souani, an old horse stable and granaries with the large swimming pool. After coming to visit Meknes, we will continue our journey to Fes overnight in a riad in Fes bali.

Day 4: Guided tour of Fes

Breakfast and the city tour of Fes will begin with an official local guide who will take you to the traditional markets of the city stopping at the Royal Palace, the old universities of the world the mosque and the Madrasa of Karaouine built by Fatima El Fehria in the 9th century. In the afternoon the Najarine fountain, the old harem garden and the batha museum. On the way to the hotel, the guide will invite you to take panoramic photos of the city.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Erg Chebbi

Breakfast at the hotel in Fes, then we will travel to Merzouga desert. passing through the city of Ifrane, and Azrou, here we can stop to feed the monkeys, after that we will continue the road to the city of Midelt; located in the Middle Atlas; known for its cultivation of apples. We will stop there for lunch. In the afternoon our desert journey will continue to cross the Ziz Valley. Arriving in Arfoud, we will head directly to Merzouga, dinner and overnight in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 6: Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert

Breakfast and we will explore the Merzouga desert. We will visit the nomads in their tents then we go to Taouz to see the rock carvings, then we continue to Hamlia to enjoy a Berber pizza and see the music and dance of the gnoaua. Then you leave on camel back to spend the night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will admire the sunset over the dunes, see a music show of Berber drums. Dinner around the campfire. Sleep under the stars in Berber camp tents.

Day 7: Merzouga – Erfoud – Touroug – Todra gorges – Dades gorges

After the sunrise show in the Sahara, you will have your breakfast and we leave on camels to Merzouga, our trip will continue to Rissani to visit the big market of Tafilalt and the mausoleum of Molay Ali chrif Alaoui, the we will pass towards Erfoud, and Touroug we will join Todra gorges. Lunch and continue via Tinghir to Boumalne dades, stop to take pictures of the Dades valley. Continuation to the Dades gorges where you will spend the night with dinner in a hotel.

Day 8: Dades gorges – Roses valley – Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou

We will follow the Dades valley towards Kelaa Mgouna where you will visit a cooperative of rose wells, then we continue towards Skoura here you will visit the Amridil kasbah, then we will pass Ouarzazate to take photos facing the Taourirte kasbah, continue towards movie studios. From there we will reach the village of Ait ben haddou where we will spend the night in a hotel with dinner.

Day 9: Ait ben haddou – Marrakech

After your breakfast your local guide will take you to explore the famous kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit our trip will take us to Marrakech, we stop at Telouet to visit the Kasbah of Glaoui. from there we will cross the high atlas mountain to reach Marrakech. Night in a riad in the medina.

Day 10: Marrakech

Your local guide will come to accompany you to start the visit of Marrakech. You will explore all the historical monuments of the Medina, such as the Ben Yousserf school, the Bahia and Badi palaces, the Jewish Quarter, the Saadian tombs, the Menara gardens.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

We leave for Essaouira after your breakfast. We stop on the way at an argan oil cooperative to see how the women extract oil from argan nuts. Continuation to Essaouira. Visit the medina and the port of Sakala to take beautiful photos. Dinner and night in a riad

Day 12 Essaouira – Casablanca – Tangier

We transfer you to Tangier after your breakfast in your riad. let’s go through Casablanca – Rabat. We will drop you off at Tangier airport or at your accommodation. 12 days from Tangier to desert ends.
