► Itinerary 4 Days Desert tour From Fes to Marrakech:

Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

Our tour starts off at 8 am as we depart Fez, we will stop at Azrou which is not really far from Fes. We will pay a visit to the Cedar forest, known for its wide variety of apes and monkeys. You will have lunch in Midelt. Our mini tour continues as we drive through the long series of High Atlas Mountains and numerous Berber villages. We will also drive by Errachidia. Later afternoon we will arrive to Merzouga; in which we will spend the night in a Hotel nearby the dunes.

Day2: Merzouga – 4×4 Tour around Merzouga- Khamlia -Erg chebbi Camel Trek Night in Desert

After having breakfast we will explore the Saharian area by driving the 4×4 vehicles over the dunes to Rissani. We will visit fossil factories and get to know to the history of the Alaouits as Rissani was their initial capital. We will stop at Moulay Errachid very well visited destination because it contains many fine examples of the fine Moroccan art of architecture; some of these monuments are Temples and Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim. People in the area prefer to wear blue indigo robes to be identified as Desert people. Our next stop will be Khamlia village known for its Gnawa music. We would leave camels aside and ride camels to the nomad camels while the sun sets. You will have a traditional supper served by the locals whilst Berber music is played for your enjoyment. You will spend the night in a nomad tent under the beautiful starry sky.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Make sure to wake up and watch the beautiful saharian sunrise reflected upon the golden sand dunes. After having breakfast we will drive to Erfoud to visit the factories of fossilized marble. Our next stop will be the Todgha gorges; considered as the highest and narrowest canyon in the kingdom.  We will have lunch in the area as well as exploring it by wandering. Later afternoon we will drive by the Tamnalt Hills(the estrange rock formation that resembles to monkey fingers) to Dades Gorges another spectacular canyon and spend the night in the heart of the nature.

Day 4: Dades Gorges- valley of roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate- Kasbah Ait Benhadou – Marrakech

The journey continues as we enjoy the first sight of morning in the dades valley. We will set off to Marrakech yet we will stop by many magnificent sites like the Kelaat Mgouna, the  Roses valley and the 1000 kasbah road. The last contains Kasbahs that date back to the 17th century. We will visit the Ouarzazat “the Hollywood of Africa” and if you are interested we could stop by the Cinema studios and museums. The next stop will be the famous Ait Benhadou Kasbah. it is declared by the unesco to be a world heritage site, it was also the filming location for the HBO hit series Game of thrones. Later afternoon, we will be found in Marrakech. We will make sure that you check in to your hotel.
