Your journey begins with a morning visit to Casablanca’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Hassan II Mosque (exterior or interior visit) and the bustling Mohammed V Square. Afterward, you drive to Rabat, the political capital, where history and elegance blend beautifully. Here you explore the majestic Hassan Tower, the royal Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the fortified Kasbah of Oudaya overlooking the ocean. Its blue-and-white alleys, Andalusian gardens, and panoramic viewpoints make it one of Morocco’s most charming corners. Evening at leisure in Rabat.
After breakfast, the journey continues north toward the Rif Mountains, where the magical town of Chefchaouen awaits. The road offers sweeping views of rolling hills and green valleys before reaching the famous Blue City. Upon arrival, take time to wander through its beautifully painted streets, browse artisan shops, or relax in the peaceful main square of Outa el Hammam.
Today is entirely dedicated to discovering Chefchaouen at your own rhythm. This is one of Morocco’s most photogenic destinations, with endless shades of blue on every wall, door, and staircase. You can explore the medina, visit the Kasbah museum, climb to the Spanish Mosque for a spectacular sunset viewpoint, or simply enjoy a slow, relaxing day among the calm atmosphere of the mountains.
After leaving Chefchaouen, your journey takes you south to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, one of the best-preserved archeological sites in North Africa. Walk among impressive ruins, mosaics, temples, and arches that reveal the daily life of Romans centuries ago. After the visit, you continue to the imperial city of Meknes, where wide avenues, grand gates, and historical monuments reflect the glory of the Alaouite dynasty.
In the morning, you explore Meknes, discovering the monumental Bab Mansour gate, the royal stables of Sahrij Swani, the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail, and the traditional old medina. After lunch, the journey continues to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Upon arrival, settle into your riad located in the ancient medina.
This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Fes, one of the oldest medieval cities in the world. Explore the labyrinthine alleys of Fes el Bali, famous for its artisans, tanneries, and historic madrasas such as Bou Inania. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Nejjarine fountain, and colorful souks. After lunch, you leave Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains toward Midelt, a peaceful town surrounded by cedar forests and volcanic landscapes.
After breakfast, continue south through dramatic mountain scenery before reaching the lush palm groves of the Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful oases. Admire its traditional villages and green riverbanks before arriving in Erfoud, famous for its fossils and dates. As you approach Merzouga, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise majestically on the horizon, announcing your arrival in the Sahara. Settle in your hotel or riad and enjoy a relaxing evening near the dunes.
This day is entirely devoted to discovering the culture, landscapes, and hidden treasures of the Sahara. Visit a nomad family living in traditional tents, enjoy the spiritual Gnawa music of Khamlia village, and explore the desert by 4x4, including the oasis gardens and seasonal lake of Dayet Srij (when water is present). In the afternoon, you may enjoy a camel ride at sunset, quad biking, or simply relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. Overnight again in Merzouga.
After soaking in the morning beauty of the desert, your journey continues to Rissani, home of traditional markets and the birthplace of Morocco’s royal dynasty. You then travel through Tinghir to the majestic Todgha Gorge, where you can walk between its towering 300-meter cliffs. The route continues through lush valleys and Berber villages until you reach the scenic Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and fortified kasbahs.
Today you explore the winding Dades canyons before continuing your journey through the spectacular Valley of Roses, famous for its rosewater distilleries and spring festivals. The landscape gradually shifts into the palm groves of Skoura, where you can visit the historic Kasbah Amridil. By afternoon, you arrive in Ouarzazate, where you may visit the famous Atlas Studios or the old Kasbah Taourirt.
On this day, you travel toward the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, the most iconic ksar in Morocco.
